there fairing on the 06 r6 doesn't have any holes so
i'd say you will have to cut
and i would not stunt that bike 1
its even worse than my 04
the subframe is like a pop can
your gonna have to cut the fairings for a cage and 12 bar for sure

 

the powers sliders are aluminum which is pretty soft. pound for pound it's stronger than steel but for a given area it's weak.

I don't think there's a cage out yet for the 06 R6, unless you got the S model. in that case it's the same as the 03-05
