not my first bike, been riding streets hard for a long time, just new to stunting. was big fan of rinding fast through local twisties but too many close calls{deer/jerks in cars] im not saying stunting is safe but i dont see myself walking away when the bike goes down @ 100mph because some jack -a$$ decided to look for a cd while drifting into my lane....
so i figured the the drz would slow me down and i would be able to get serious about stunting

yeah i see what your saying but you wil lstill have the same close calls with ********, One good thing put a loud pipe on the Drz and most of the time deer run away, i mean thats how it seems with my ktm, but ive still had many close calls with deer anyway lol

another thing is i know the guy who owns the dealership where i got the 636 and he will sell me the drz for 4900 out the door (2005) how could you pass that up

If someone could tell me how to make a crf450 street legal, I'd put my 600rr up for sale the next day. I can't imagine anything more fun than a street legal motard. Wish honda would step up and put one out. I can't ride a Suzuki....Tried once and it got jacked. I think it was a sign.

theres a few guys on Supermotojunkie with legal 450s, it all depends what state you are in cali and FL seem to be the hardest to get by in, if you title dosnt say offroad only then you have a chance.
But yeah the ktm is my only bike is a dual sport not motarded yet i have had the $$$ but i this week after graduation i should have enough money to finally do it lol. I was suppose to get some rims for christmas but then my bike broke down so decided it was best to use the money to get it fixed lol
But i also have new plastics on the way from a newer 625 so i have a lot to do this summer.

the drz is maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad slow compared to what a 450 crf or yz motard would be like.

Thats cuz it's geared for the street.. Stock it'll do about 105. Change the gearing a bit and jet it and it's pretty quick

really motard arent going to be very fast, 120 tops for most, of course inless, its ktms 950 supermoto or one of aprilla's v-twins i have only has the ktm up to 105 and its really not too fun at that speed.
