judging for stuntfest

we are trying to make judging as fair as possible with all the $$ and bike we are giving away. Here is what we have came up with. Let us know what u think. And some possible judges. Do it.

-Stunt Fest judging-

We will have a pannel of six qualified judges (uponone.com sanchezz and chris will be two of the six)

-TEAM EVENT-
team will be aloud 6 riders total
all riders must ride sportbikes (this means no 50s, 4 wheelers, cars, truck, snowmobiles, or anything of this nature) we are looking for the best sportbike stunt-team.

the teams will be judged on the below catagories:

stunts
wheelie = 25 points
Stoppie = 25 points
burnouts = 25 points
acrobatics = 25 points

along with presentation
sting = 25 points
smooth = 25 points
flow = 25 points
team work = 25 points

each individual crash will result in a 10 point reduction for each time the rider or bike hits the ground..

the combination of stunts and presentation will give the total possible score of 200 points.
the winner will be the team with the highest score...

------------------------------------------------

-Individual Freestyle-
will be judged as follows:

combos = 10 points max
acrobatics = 10 points max
burnouts = 10 points max
stoppies = 10 points max
circles = 10 points max
wheelies = 10 points max
no handers = 10 points max

presentation = 30 points max resulting from the below scores
--------------- sting = 10 points
--------------- smooth = 10 points
--------------- flow = 10 points

100 points total will be a perfect run.

crashing will result in a 10 point reduction for each time the rider or bike hits the ground..

elimination run on saturday will be 3 minutes
finals on sunday will be 6 minutes

----------

-Top Rider of the weekend-
Grand Prize winner - 2006 gsxr 600

will be based on the 100 points from Individual Freestyle and 100 points from the events below
25 points - Longest Stoppie
25 points - Fast Wheelie (mph)
25 points - Circles (as many continous circles that you can do in 1 minute)
25 points - Longest coaster (300 foot aproach)

The points for each event will be given out as follows:
1rst place = 25
2nd place = 24
3rd place = 23
4th place = 22
this will continue down to the 25th place = 1 point

the rider with the most points resulting from individual freestyle and the 4 events above will go home with the bike...

good luck,

Re: judging for stuntfest

what do u consider a "Crash" are you going to deduct 10 points for someone spinning out a chainsaw burnout or coming down from a frog circle and jumping to the side?

system sounds pretty fair overall
