Multiplex Japan - UPDATE
Unfortunately on day one Darius scored the bike that came with a dud engine (before he even rode it), but thankfully the dedicated Japanese guys worked their butts off after having to drive 6 hours round trip to fetch him another one. Prior to that though, he was still killing it Darius style even though the bike was running on 3 and sounded like there was no oil in the engine.
Edub and Nike Apex signed a sponsorship deal with a new Japanese bike accessories company called RUSH DEAL. So you should be hearing the term "Money Shot!" a fair bit from now on. Well done to the combo kings!
Teach got the supplied 600RR going the way he wanted and was freaking everyone out with his insane drifting and everything else he does.
Joe Dryden is rocking a brand new 636 which was setup especially for the event and was bangin out some of his usual styles. I rode the bike myself and damn is it nice
Eric Hoenshell has been pulling some great stoppies and everything else he does. Bike looks just like home too!
Ok, so for the competition itself! Weather today has been pretty terrible. Rain rain and more rain, yet that didn't hold up the proceedings. Each of the US riders was pair up against a Japanese rider. The opening field saw 16 riders in total, 6 of which were Japanese. To cut to the chase the US guys all won their first elimination heat, but the competition tomorrow loooks like it'll be good because some of the Japanese guys are pretty damn good!
Here's what we'll be seeing:
Teach vs E-Dub
Darius vs the crazy Japanese kid on the Gixxer 1000 fighter
Joe vs Japanese rider on a Gixxer 750 fighter
Nick Apex vs Eric Hoenshell
Pics to come later

Re: Multiplex Japan - UPDATE
I gotta say, TEACH is definately the man over here...he is making everyone look like a bunch of amateurs, the almighty Darius "choke" Kashabi included.
i vote TEACH for president, and i'm pretty sure he just signed a 250k deal with Honda. after all, hondas are made right here in japan. oh ya, looks like he'll be a Honda test pilot as well, potentially even testing for motogp in the future.
like i said before, he is hands down the best rider here right now!!!

I'm forever indebted to guys like Teach, Darias, Britton & Thomas who have put me on the map.

Re: Multiplex Japan - UPDATE
Everyone is having fun and that is great to me! That is what I intended and it is happening. I think everyone is doing pretty well, Darius was a t a disadvantage cause of not being on the bike yesterday like the other guys and the rain play havoc too. But tomorrow is calling for clear skies or at least no rain...we hope. But it is fun nonetheless. And I must say Britton was on a Honda!!!! haha Sorry J I had to tell em! Oh that guy in the pic with Boxer is Nick Franklin Red Bull FMX star from New Zealand.
