Re: Multiplex Japan - UPDATE

1st Chris McNeil
2nd Joe Dryden
3rd Shin (GSXR 1000 Rider) (also appears to have the same hairstylist as Nick)
4th Eric Hoenshell
5th Ernie Vigil
6th Nick Brocha
7th Nakanuma
8th Ad Tac
and there was another 8 riders in the first round eliminations.

Congrats to the guys, hope your stay was a fun one. The promoters were impressed and we are sure to see this again. Big thanks to our sponsors and supporters All Out Performance, Rush Deal, K&N, Kingcold.com, Geared Steel Products, Freestyle Inginuity, Stuntex, Red Bull, Ichimoto Honda, AFG Moto, Mr. Bike Magazine, Super Street Bike Magazine, Icon, and D Games all made direct contributions to the success of the Stunt event. Thanks to Thomas Evans, Mark Boxer, Mike Wyckoff, and Steve Brennan for your help and assitance.

This being the first event of this kind in Japan....there are some things we can change and work on for next time. But it will evolve.

Teach hope you heal up ok! Jason Britton, Akira said he will be getting and new GSXR 600 soon so next time you get that and won't have to rock the Honda's again! haha

Everybody was a class act for the event. They all upheld honor and respect for the fans and staff, I appreciate it.

I was stoked to be able to make this happen with help of so many! It was a huge rush to see each of the US riders out there killin it for the Japanese fans. In the end this was well worth the stress and endless nights of preparation but I must say if asked again to volunteeer for this task and not garner payment again.....well I would do it in an instant.....the feeling of accomplishment was well worth it and to have the respect and thanks from the fans and riders was an awesome experiance. I truely am grateful for the opportunity.

We have already been offered 3 sponsorships for the next one! Look for Multiplex to to be offering in the neighborhood for $25,000+ in prize money next year.

Re: Multiplex Japan - UPDATE

Oh and guys Chiba-san, Yoshizawa-san, and the Shinagawa-san apologize for not getting the drift rides set up in time. They promise to make it happen next year or next time if sooner. Mark and Steve your not included! You had enough fun doing that stuff with Tanaka, ARC, and Do-Luck!

Here is another quote from the event courtesy of Nick Franklin (Team Red Bull FMX Pro) "You street bike stunters have huge *****!"

And one last thing I want to share with everyone a little something called friendship and class.
Mark Boxer paid to fly himself and Steve up from Sydney to cover the event for a large US Mag.... both on film and stills. And he was to receive a paycheck for this from that publication, Mark requested that the money be put towards the Stunt Event at Multiplex for the riders prize money.....therefore Mark came on his own out of his own pocket and without payment for it.

Re: Multiplex Japan - UPDATE

Sounded like an awesome event. Well done to the riders and fans who attented. Can't wait to see the videos and more pics of the event. Well done to Teach.

And tokyojrock.. I wish we had more people like you, pushing the sport in new countries.. if you ever want to come to England to organise an event over here you're more than welcome Congrats and keep up the good work.. The sport will only get big if people like you continue to do what you're doing.

I just hope one day the same thing happens for England.
