Just outta curiosity... what year F4i's are you guys rockin
Ive seen a **** load of F4i's... but they all have that one piece seat, where the back connects to the front

04 and up just need a subframe, seats, plastics and i think undertail to make them look like 01-03

other than that they are basically the same

I have an 01, and I have 1 of each subframe. If im plannign on doing alot of street riding I put on the bananna seat since its comfortable.

actuly 2004 and up has heavy emitions stuff on it im not shure if it will mess with any thing but if i were sticking a 2004 motor in a 2003 i would use a 2003 wire harness

hm because i put an 05 motor in and 05 harness and suprise suprise it felt 3798754975345432 times better than the 02 motor.

01 is the strongest motor

04 and up dont have the guts that the 01-03 have

i have had 5 f4i's total and they all run diff

the new f4is have the same bannan seat and same fairing and tailight as my
f4 does.

i like the solo seat f4i's those are sick.

I don't know what you are talking about emissions stuff? On the Cali models maybe but, the 49 state models are unchanged. The reason the wiring harness is different on the 04 is because the subframe and tailsection is different so they moved the ECM and reg. rect. They are all bullit proof.

theres an exhust sencor at the base of the headers for smog reasons any bike that has stuff for smog reasons is not gona be as fast or have as much power as the ones that dont
