Re: dont make me lie again!!
I think you need to try staggered standups. sitdowns are harder to control.
and with your throttle control, or lack there of, you really shouldn't be attempting kelm spreaders you should be covering the rear brake, or better yet, learning it doing staggered standups

Re: dont make me lie again!!
^^How are you ment to learn throttle control if you dont practice?
ps, he does ss's much better than he does sitdowns, but I say again - how are you ment to get good at sitdowns if you never do them?

who said not to practice?
ps, I assume by ss's you mean staggerd standups... you will confuse the hell out of everyone if you continue to abbreviate them like that...ss's = seat standers. throttle and brake skills learned doing standups will transfer to sitdowns. take advice from the dude rocking the gsxr 1k, he obviosuly knows whats up

Re: dont make me lie again!!
damn 250 guys, ease up.
here's a simple fact, these folks ARE better than you, take thier advice, they aren't hating or trying to make you crash. the stuff they tell you is VALID.
although it's different for everyone, you gotta learn to walk before you can crawl. my opinion, get some nice long balanced wheelies down, a mile or two atleast, then work on getting your brake control better, scrape that fender.
then move on to other stuff.
lookin good guys, just work on the throttle control (and attitude, haha, ease off the hosilities guys)

and neither did he
kelm spreader=wobbles=bad.
sitdowns=wobbles (unless your abnormally smooth, which isn't the case)=bad
staggered=MUCH less comfortable at first BUT! if you practice more often you'll see why so many poeple like it.
it's not what you say bro, it's how you say it

Re: dont make me lie again!!
We should have a wheelie contest... See who can go the farthest doing a Kelm Spreader, what cha think?
You need to clutch it up at a slower speed so you can get it higher and up to the balance point before you end up running out of gear.

Re: dont make me lie again!!
hahaha nice one kelm Us Vs Oz in a 250 showdown:YEAH
yeh if clutch it from a dead stop it makes things easier... but as i said first time back doing wheelies after i came down with the wobbles doing staggareds...
i get some kelm spreaders on vid for u next time ay i have a feeling yours might go further but
u should see how quick a two fiddy runs out of gear with a big sproket to!
