1-handed seat standers without steering damper ?

I wanted to know if anyone does 1-handed seat standers without a steering damper ? I don't have one, and when I try to do my seat stander 1 handed, I almost crash every time

your steering neck bearings might be loose, I got mine pretty tight and to move the bars you have to turn it by hand

Re: 1-handed seat standers without steering damper ?

first off if you think your pimp because you can do a seat stander one hander with a hand brake your ****ing not a pimp your a hoe just wanted to get that out there

for the seat stander with the left hand off well theres different methods to that madness

1.when up in the s/s with both hands on the bars **** the bars to the left.this will hold your position and be able to make you shift your wait or do combos with your hand off.get to where you feel comfortable take left hand off and rock the throttle.

2. hold your right arm out tight and take left hand off. this position for me is not comfortable. to much concentration. sux

3. take left hand off and run out the gear again dangerous and sux

i like step 1 its fun and you can murder combos that way with your left hand off and no checking the bars necessary

hahaha lol, I saw that too... But Johnie, when I try it, I almost crash because my bars fall to the right... I can't help it, and when it does, I almost crash every time It feels sooo scary to let my right hand go of the bars...

Almost feels unnatural...

I agree with ironlung
it sounds to me like you need to tighten the adjusting nut in your steering head. on my 900 I think it's suppose to take 2.2-3.3 pounds of force to turn the forks. if it takes any less it is too loose.
