to some point i will agree with you mr. joe brown. Obvously darius and warren and a feww others have way more techinical tricks under there belt than kane, but kane is a little more versatile i guess you could say... he does acros, and burnout varation and wheelies, and i guess some circles, and you need that to win a comp. and the crowd probably liked kane style cause it looks like he is always goin to mangle himself.....i dont know what it is coming down to now my friend.....i guess i should go out and practice my acros, im a little rusty

Re: phoenix XDL results..

Kane even had the nerv to come up to me and tell me that he shouldn't have to qualify cause he was on the card and he has sponsors. Then the f'er takes number one qualifier and wins. I think i'm going to start crying at every one of my comps and hopefully i can win too.

Re: phoenix XDL results..

I will say this.. its interesting that two totally different styles came in first and second place...

no matter who was first or second.. it just goes to show you that the judging takes in account skill and showmanship

Re: phoenix XDL results..

To many thanks to even start naming people.. thanks to everyone.

I had a great time. We all had to bear with the intense miserable heat!! All the riders out there rocked ('cept the R1 dude!? WTF?)

Warren scared the hell out of me.. F'R! but he is a definate soldier!!

the XSBA style judging is dope compared to the inconsistencies of other stunt competitions.

BIG PROPS to thomas for putting on the BEST competition our sport's seen yet. Real payouts! Real Trophies, even the BIG CHECK!!

Team event was soo much fun! (Me, Darius and Mikey D (got circles)) came in 2nd just FYI! :P Watchin E-Dub get flung around behind clint's bike was total comedy!!

Whole weekend was awesome. 3 destroyed bikes (one big fireball!!) Cops, Garbage, and Frankie the caveman!! haha..

Ill post video and pics when i get back home on tuesday.
Thanks again!!

*to whomever the Aaron colton hater was.. dude.. earmuffs earned his spot in the qualifier he rode like a machine and was killing it!! Very talented rider!!!! age has nothing to do with anything there.. No gimmic.. just skills!*

-Kane

Re: phoenix XDL results..

I had a blast. I want to thank everyone involved with the event and all my friends that keep me riding when I'd rather be drinking and humping stuff

Hey Joe Brown....I know you hate comps now...but I hope you're gonna come out to infineon for at least the stoppie comp practice you're 100-120' approach...if ya don't have a 300' roll then I got u son hahahahah.

The team event will be cool too. winner take all...... the judging for regular individual freestyle will be like that of the xdl....but the team event is going to be based on overall "pants shittedness".....so tighten up your games. Hell do a christ JB

Re: phoenix XDL results..

Just wanted to give a big thanks to Thomas and all the judges!

I think everyone had alot of fun especially myself.

The judging was as fair as it could get and gave eveyone who entered a good chance and some of the well rounded riders prevailed. Kane had a clean run covered all his bases and new what he needed to pull off to win....congrats.

oh and Thomas its Peristere.

Re: phoenix XDL results..

I think that it was a big success, the people running it actually care about the riders and how its run, and not just making money. Totally professional.

This is the first event that you could really tell that these people have been putting runs together and practicing em. The actual numbers were so close between 3-5 place was half point incriments the whole time.

Id have to say everyone threw down some nasty *** runs, but i really liked Alex's run, it was straight MURDERING it.

Anyways get ready for this to spark cause if comps like this actually follow suit this sport will go places
