Re: Super Streetbike Magazine

I agree Vanson is pricey, but the after sales service is pretty good....plus they are less than 5 minutes from my house. Mike always treats me right. I agree Vanson dows less for riders....but you have to compare the revenues also coming in from each company. Parts, Icon and CC are all owned by LeMans Corporation, which I'm sure has stupid loot to throw around. As far as who I spoke with at the Dealer Expo...I'm not sure. But basically it was over a stupid free magazine. I was a subscribed customer...wanted a mag for the flight home and the pole smoker tells me I need to subscribe. I tell the guy I'm already a subscribed customer and he tells me than I don't need the mag. I said "yeah, I don't have this issue yet and I'd like to read it on the flight home and he goes back to the whole subscription thing....I'm like "Are you stupid or something" and he was like only new subscribers get a free mag, I was like your kiddin me and left the booth.

Seriously? You must have really done something to **** those guys off for them to punk your *** like that...

Just kidding. There were six kiosks in that booth, one at each corner and two in the middle, constantly restocked with mags free for that taking. We gave away hundreds (thousands?) of copies of SSB, Motorcyclist, Sport Rider, Dirt Rider and Cruiser over that weekend, subscribers or not. On Friday night we even gave them out with free beer. Next time someone hassles you, just walk past the offending body and grab one of each title off the kiosks, like everybody else does.

Seriously, if you're still heated over it, PM me your address and I'll send you whatever copies you missed and other swag. No hard feelings.

Artriom--thank you for your useful comments. Can I get fries with that?

it's not comments,it's opinion.I enjoyed reading all mags before.but last month had no reason to buy it ,cuz was nothing interesting in it to see, probably cuz there almost nothing about stunting.
