well its official, i am either the luckiest **********er to ever own a 905 cage or possibly the most talented crasher ever:YEAH

 

Well no sh*t running any cage, even 905 is better than nothing. But AGAIN the title of this thread is "Best cage for a 04 gsxr 600," you just said 905 isn't the best and we should leave the 905 cage debate at that.

As for you - you have been lucky enough to learn the easy way without trashing your cage and bike. What you posted on page 1 about flipping your bike, sliding at 20mph, hitting a curb and having little or no damage was a one and a million crash. I'm thinking the average newbie learning 12's isn't going to have the luck that you had. That is why I didn't recommend the 905 for 04gixx6 since he new to the game..

 

(When your still learning and don't have perfect finess of the rear break)do a normal 12 sit dn, stand up in a strait line, go a little too far and off balance, hit the corner of the 12 bar a little too hard. You will be on the ground and your bike will go bashing into the pavement. With lack of experience, and not very good break control your not saving that sh*t.. Have seen that more times than I can count live, or in videos, and have done that 3 times back when I was learning. good times

No it's true, you are the luckiest mother effer to ever ride a gixxer w/ a 905 cage, along w/ crash saving skills from what you've said. That is why I was pissed that you were posting for the new guy who made this thread. You experience is kind of like false advertisement since you were lucky and learned w/ out crashing much. - Naah mean!

..i got freestyle..i dont have a problem..i mean i have been stuntin and havent crash yet, but the only thing i dont like about the cages is you cant lean far down on the turns such like gettin off the freeway into those huge circle exit at full speed but other than that it works well, i mean i knock it over couple of times for fun and nothin wrong with it...its all your choice...

 

MXD - street cage for gixxer. I know guys who bring em to the track and drag knee all day. Look at the pics of them on the MXD website and you'll know what I mean. I also use the same cage for just pkg lot stunting.

 

Ive seen more FI cages break than 905 cages Just seems better built, like a tank!!

 

anyone selling a cage for a 04-05 gsxr 600???
