Re: 99 R6 stunt bike????

powers cage, take out the clip-on centering bolts or just simply buy aftermarket ones, get some gearing cause clutch baskets blow ***, hmm 3/4's a quart over, take off your taillight n buy a broken one.

i ride n 02 with a powers cage, 905 12bar modified, -1+2 on stock chain, goning through my 4th clutch change and shes still rockin strong.

HMMM, I got like 30,000 miles on my 99, I never had a problem with the clutch!! I'd definatly get a good cage, and don't bother with the stock clip-ons, if you value your life, get aftermarket.

you also have gearing so that FIXES the clutch issue, put stock gearing on n go try secound gear spreader. SLIIIIIIPPPPPPPP

Re: 99 R6 stunt bike????

I had on 01 r6 and that thing wasnt bad after you get used to the delicate throttle. Any little movement and that bike was all over the place, very jerky. I had -1 +3 on my bike. You can do about anything on them once you get used to it. The subframes **** *** and snap like twigs. The bike would always die on me when rolling long endoes even with the idle up. Well most of the time it would. The fairing stay is a piece of **** that cracks easy also. I had to reweld mine 3 times. Went through 2 clutches. Balance point is kind of high for someone learning. If i think of anything else ill post up.

Re: 99 R6 stunt bike????

All I've done to my bike is gear it. Stock gearing is fine for highway ****. But I move up to a 60 tooth rear for slow stuff. I'm just waiting for my FI cage that I ordered over a month ago.!!!!!
