Re: My Bike was Jacked

put a motion detecting alarm on your bike.. it's quite cheap & you can actually make it yourself..
Bike has to be on a trembleless stable surface of course..
I made one for my dirtbike.. just for funs..

That sucks man...Hope the insurance helps you out.

I had a fresh 05GSXR1000 stolen last year. Only had it 2 weeks.

Cops said the same thing, "Don't expect to see it again".

PS. I've got one of these protecting my F4i now. http://www.xenasecurity.com/home/current/lock/ . Not sure if it's been needed yet, but the bike is still there

Re: My Bike was Jacked

It's good. I have it parked outside and hear it loud and clear from anywhere in the house. I had it go off by accident one time and had ppl 5-6 houses down staring.

I've never heard a full on Bike Alarm so don't really have it to compare too.

^ I've tried one of those cheap ones on ebay -- I've got a stopwatch with a louder alarm on it.
