Stunt Scene Photographers

Does anyone know any photographers that are heavily involved in the scene in the US? I'm looking for someone who actually works for the different magazines over there and is therefore a pro.

Re: Stunt Scene Photographers

Foto on the forums gets a lot of his pictures published and also does some writeups on the smaller events. His real name is David Avila. That's the only one i know of.

Re: Stunt Scene Photographers

Fensty from Dallas, Texas is a great photographer as well. He's had stuff in SSB, TwoWheelTuner, etc.

He was there when we did the Reliant Stadium show a few months ago.

There seem to be a lot of "Johnny come lately" photographers in the scene but If you want the best, get Foto (David Avila.) He's been around this sport since the beginning, knows everyone and is not only the best photographer, but also one of the best people you'll ever meet.

when I talked to Dave at Stuntwars, He said he wasn't going to be doing too much stunt picture taking anymore. Hopefully, he's changed his mind. Dave is a great photographer and one helluva nice guy.

+1 he told me the same thing.

you can check with Rhonda Burgess of Nascency Cinemas. she hits a lot of events and her work has been getting around lately. she has a English degree also and can give you a good write up for the event as well. let me know if you want to contact her.

I think maybe the recreational picture taking, driving around on your own dime to snap photos of people because of the pure love of it may be what he meant?????. When it comes to doing a "job" or getting paid for something I'm pretty sure that's a whole different ball of wax. Anyways, I'd get it from him rather than speculating.
