so i just got this snazzy new backpack that has a kewl helmet pocket n everything.. niffty gear bag im thinking right?

so i go riding the other night, just finish my session and throw my helmet in its bag and into my backpack. dont think anything of it until yesterday...

i get to the spot warm up the bike, open my bag throw on my helmet.... holly rancid smell... i mean.. like.. WTF.. warning labels shoulda come with my bag!!

my helmets like brand new only worn it a few times..

smells like someone shat all over it... im about 18 bottles of febreeze in...

so mental note..

when your helmet is hot n sweaty DO NOT STORE IN DARK SEALED AREAS...

Gloves are the worst for smelling bad, mine smell awful even after i wash them!

 

I hate that. Even though its ballz cold up my way I still sweat my *** off in that damn thing. Everytime I put it on I'm reminded of my trip to mexico.

 

the worst feeling is when its cold out(northeast thing) and you ride for hours and get sweaty and then take a break and go to put your helmet back on and its sweaty icicles

Put it in the freezer for a little while and it will kill the smell

 

Odor eater boys!! They usually have some good **** made by HONDA at local shops for helmet odor.... It works good...

Na the cold kills the bacteria that makes the smell. Try it
