it didnt go as planned as alot of things dont in this sport... but *****ing about the past is not going to get us anywhere in the future.

i think we ALL should try to help out with an event like this to make sure everything gets taken care of the way it should instead of complaining about what we didnt like..

working together we'll make it alot further .

my 2 cents (not that anybody cares)

I think you missed some things. People did try to make it better but they gave em the ole... this is "OUR THING" not yours. It should be hashed out because this is/was " THE EVENT" of this upcoming sport. If people dont tell you what they're tired of or what needs to be changed, this B.S. would go on forever. The sport will be stronger because of it and some will be left behind.

I also believe you were one of the people complaining about the Starboyz events? RIGHT

agreed. but doing on a forum where nobody wil read it is pointless.

they all have eachothers phone #'s and working out **** over the phone is alot easier than reading (miss-interpreted) post on the internet.

internet is cool for promotoing yourself/your team and crap like that but i think the "big dog's" who could actully make something of this sport would be better off dealing with issues over the phone or in person where u can better understand where the person is coming from by the tone of their voices.

like i said.. ..internet is great for promoting the "sport" but were all better off if we work together as " one " instead of calling out stuff that could be taken care of person to person and dealt with acordingly.

once again.. my 2 cents (not that anybody cares)

WTF do you not understand... all this **** was talked about in person

and I could give a **** if you think you misinterpret me on the internet... cuz if you take what I say the wrong way... then you just might think I like you

Todd didn't follow through on his word??

No way!

Does Buell actively seek those kinds of folks or is it a result of Buell's sponsorship program? Nature or nurture?

Where's Freud when you need him?

i didnt say that "I" didnt understand... i was trying to express that **** comes off differently over the internet than it does in a phone call or in person....

the point i was trying to get at was that these posts are not getting "us" anywhere.... they are being viewed by hundreds of stunters all over.... and it just makes us "all" look childish in my oppion.

Re: The Colbert Thread (official story)

This isn't about bi7ching, whinning, or complaining....

What this is about is rider's feel that they have been lied to, taken advantage of, mislead, treated poorly, and lastly disrespected and they are phucking tired of it.

PLAIN AND SIMPLE

With that being said I think it is a campaign to black ball Stuntwars or any of Colbert's events from the schedules of the riders planned events.

I think the general consensus is that Colbert is a joke and so is his event...

How many people do you think it would take before Todd stopped taking calls??
This is the only reasonable outlet at this time and most of the people involved in the sport will see it. agreed?

I also dont think Todd/Stuntwars is a joke and he deserves some credit. It started out well and gave Stunters National and some International exposure. With that it cant be a joke. I also think Todd/Stuntwars success is directly related to StonefilmsNYC. Yep! Drew Stone has pushed and helped it along with filming and planning shows with some of the best riders in the World. You should thank him and the Starboyz.

I just think it didnt progress into everyones expectations and people got greedy and hard headed. Stuntwars should be at a top facility, family friendly place with plenty of other attractions around it. Stuntwars should have progressed but it hasnt and thats why the Riders are up-set.

Drew Stone has some good things going on this year with some talented riders. Thomas has some good contacts and a pretty entertaining show sweeping across the land. Some other riders have great contacts in movies etc.. I look for these guys not by themselves, but with the help of others not mentioned to bring us a "TOP NOTCH SHOW" thats respectable to the Stunters, Fans and everyone involved.

Also these guys doing shows across the pond and here at home. They are the ones building the fan base for the interest in Stuntwars. I guess Todd thought those Fans were directly related to his team shows. Stuntwars should give thanks to all teams and special thanks to those that run multiple shows to build our fan base.

Re: The Colbert Thread (official story)

i went to stuntwars this year and i will never go back. it is ABSURD that they get $15 from every SPECTATOR that comes thru that gate and $40 from every rider who enters, and they still have the ***** to charge RIDERS you know, the people that everyone else came to see, $15 a piece to come and put on a show. Its just amazing how much they take advantage of the riders who , with the exception of maybe 10 riders at the end of the day get absolutely nothing back but a shitty place to ride. Im really not anyone and no one really cares what i think but the whole thing, just makes it seem like everyone spends thousands of dollars to come make money for colbert

Re: The Colbert Thread (official story)

I think it's safe to say at this point from all the grievences voiced and the overall dismay of everyone from riders to spectators to the poor guy who got his bikes and trailor stolen ,that stuntwars is done, finitoed, shatterized. I could'nt imagine 1 single rider showing up next year. That really sucks for florida. next year I guess it 'll be squidwars 07' oh well.

Re: The Colbert Thread (official story)

Stuntwars has to be held at the most inconvenient spot too. I wish it was more central US, so its around equal for everyone.

Welcome to the home of the XDL U.S. Stunt Riding Championship. In December of 2005 we brought a new format to the U.S., the combination of freestyle drifting and stunt riding. It showed us the undeniable appeal of stunt riding and we decided to get more involved by offering stunt riders a national championship series with real prize money: The XDL U.S. Stunt Riding Championship.

For 2006 we are putting together a 3 events series consisting of an East and West Coast qualifying round and a final shoot out. To maximize the entertainment value we are running the XDL U.S. Stunt Riding Championship as part of a larger event series called GT LIVE. Our "Best of the West" qualifier is May 12 & 13 at Phoenix International Raceway. The "East Coast Eliminator" runs October 6-8 at Virginia International Raceway.

Each of our rounds is invitation-only and will consist of a maximum of 30 riders. The top ten finisher advance to the finals. Our main competition is Individual Freestyle which offers riders 10Gs in prize money. Other competitions are Team Battle and Sickest Trick. Confirmed riders for the West Coast round include some of the best in the country:

Darius Khashabi
Jason Britton
Eric Hoenshell
Joe Brown
Jason Pullen
Kane Friesen
Clint Ewing
Bullo
Alex Flores
Ernie Vigil
Eric Whitcomb
Manny Neito
Mick Wells
Warren James
Jamal Kindred

For tickets to our "Best of the West" qualifier please go to the GT LIVE web site for more information. We'll also be posting a detailed schedule and rider info in the next few weeks so please check back.

If you are a rider and would like more information about the competition please contact Thomas Evans at dsogthomas@yahoo.com.

If you are interested in becoming a marketing partner please contact Randy Grube at randy@xdlshow.com.

For general inquiries please contact info@xdlshow.com.

The big announcement regarding the Military show and who will be riding in it will come later this week.
