You can pull the brake in and your finger will automatically slip the clutch a little wich will be great for idle to keep the engine from bogging when you grab the brake hard. If you only want to pull the clutch you can do that easily without pulling the brake.
The 2 perches in 1 sounds like a decent idea, but alot of work since no one has the equipment to cast them.
I can think of a few flaws in your idea with the levers.. First is that you're supposed to bog the engine down a little bit when you do idle tricks, thats the whole point, you dont want to slip the clutch unless you're about to stall out a circle. When you do a handbrake coaster, you want the clutch all the way in.
The next problem I see is the lever lengths. The way you have it, the clutch would have to be pulled in just to get to the handbrake. Thats no good, the clutch lever doesnt need to be that long. The brake lever needs to be longer. because its hard to develop enough pressure with a short one, thats the main reason for mounting them inboard.

Yeah i agree, I got access to a mill to try at it. It's an attachment to an existing mc & mount tho.

True, I just thought it would be smoother after you get it adjusted right the engine would stay about the same rpm no matter what. The bike could slow down and never bog, then just let it out smooth to pick the speed back up. definately have to get use to it.
You could pull the clutch all the way in by itself tho with your middle finger or your index or both then grab the brake when you needed it with your index for a coaster.

My index finger is stronger than my middle finger but that's just me. I agree with John P in that i like my brake outboard. to me there is less movement to make things happen so it wouldn't be a problem for me with it being shorter.

I did think about setting it up so the brake lever would be a little ahead of the clutch so you could pull it without slipping the clutch, and that would have to use a shorter brake lever than clutch.

Basically it would be set up just the opposite of the one john had in his pics. the middle finger would pull the clutch the index for the brake.

I dunno it may be a flop but I'm gonna try it.

I do not argue with you tho, just explaining my thought more thoroughly.

No no no. Make the brake lever longer than the clutch lever. My boys and I all do all the clutch handbrake stuff, and its much better INDEX ON CLUTCH, MIDDLE ON BRAKE

Re: How'd you learn the HB

funny thing is, my finger is only so strong that the furthest i can pull it in is at the slipping point and i still have a cm of clearence from my brake finger on top of the cm of light brakeing pull. so if i am useing the HB and slipping the clutch i'll have arround an inch of space between my middle finger knuckle and clutch lever.

Re: How'd you learn the HB

this is going to be the ultimate squid question. but does anyone have a hb setup on a bike that still has its signal/ high beam switch??? I have dirt bike bars on my r6 and cannot get the mc and clutch tight together.

Damn maybe my cable really needs adjusting. I have that pulley system and the moose clutch and it doesn't feel much different than my msr which wasn't that light of a pull to me
