Thats how i learned I started rocking them without one getting used to the engine break, people at the spot started asking if I have a HB cause I was getting real slow and high. I got a Hb after I let one get away from me and it only took a day or 2 to adapt to it....
Before HB
After with HB alowed me to get the legs nice and straight becaue you dont need to use them as much to control height, but the height is almost the same....

Re: How'd you learn the HB
nope... didn't grind any of the perch. Just a little bit of the master right where the cable adjuster sits. here's another pic of the grinded area...
the 1krr master fits up sooo nice w/ the asv. I've got the asv adjusted so that i only have to pull a tiny bit to slip it... and it's close to the bar so my finger dosen't have to be all streched out either.
I love this setup... no more aching wrist/forearm after a session.

Re: How'd you learn the HB
i am trying to put this HB on..i got the whole setup from fullthrottle..agv lever too...i am just woundering how importent it is to have the resivor up right and like the front brake? or does it not matter as long as i can bleed it...
my goddamn gsxr clutch lever is so hard to pull in i have the biggest blister from riding yesterday...i like it that hard because i wanted the clutch to ingage right away...is there a way to do that and not have the hardest clutch to pull in....i have noticed that honda clutchs no matter what year or make are much easier to pull in then my gsxr..

Re: How'd you learn the HB
I tried my 954 set up with the stock f4i lever both ways. It seemed better with the mc on the outside too.
I'm working on an attachment design for mine that will be a clutch lever that attaches to the MC. The lever bolt will run through both the clutch and the brake. That way they are almost like the same lever. The clutch is longer and you pull it with your middle finger and the brake with your index.
You can pull the brake in and your finger will automatically slip the clutch a little wich will be great for idle to keep the engine from bogging when you grab the brake hard. If you only want to pull the clutch you can do that easily without pulling the brake.
I got a poor mans patten already but what do yall think about this set up???
