Re: 600RR crash cages

I can hardly push the bike over into a roll over on my Powers but once i let go it rolls right back onto the cage. can't get the clip ons, levers or tank to touch. on a real hard drop the tail and upper just BARELY touch the ground. I swear by my Powers, but like said before, i guess its personal preference ...

its because the motor mount on the 600RR sits lower than most bikes.......other than that, the FI cages are good......but like anything else may not be the best design for some bikes.........each cage has its strengths and weaknesses

I have a 905, and other than the shin abuse, uber tight tubing that makes it hard to get a socket in or out when removing and installing the cage, and tendency to roll onto the upper and clip-ons(when i had em ) its a good, strong cage

The new FI design is alot better, and have seen good powers and MXD cages.....pick what you like the looks of, you're gonna break **** regardless and its there to add a little extra protection, not make it bullet proof

Re: 600RR crash cages

the bike in those pics has been down a few times with a street cage, not even a scratch. ask socalstunts on here. he will let you know how they hold up. he only rocks a street cage & he has the option of whatever he wants.
