2005 GSXR handbrake setup??
Just curious.. i bought an extra bracket and caliper.. took it to someone today that does all our hand brake dual caliper setups... and well he didnt touch the new gixxers yet, and he did this one and said that the metal must be like magnesieium or crappy metal because it just basically turned into a blob and he couldnt adjust the welded enuff to compensate and he said that its really no good... anyone make a dual caliper bracket for the new style brackets and calipers or should i just use a regular caliper and bracket and get a full throttle setup...

See if the older model (aluminum) bracket will fit. Hopefully the spacing will be the same i dunno. Worst case scenario, you could have him just fabricate one out of steel or aluminum. You'll probably just have to pay more $$$.

Re: 2005 GSXR handbrake setup??
well i was on a friends bike with the single caliper setup, not sure what he used if it was a rigged up ghetto piece or a stunt companies setup.. but it felt alot weaker then the 2 caliper... Basically i have the braided line and a nice radial master and everything, all i need now i guess is a good valve to put in the middle. gptech or fullthrottle... i think due to funds ill get the gptech.. ive heard good things about it so hopefully it works out well..

I have a 2005 GSXR 750 with the GP Tech set up and an 05 Yamaha R1 master....it works great! I can lock it up with one finger if I want. All of my team use this set up.
On my 03 750, I had the 905 dual caliper bracket. I like the new set up better.
If you use the GP Tech, some people say it can vibrate loose and loeak air into the system. I kinda doubt that cuz you have to hammer it in cuz it fits so tight and it uses the factory rubber o-ring to seal as well, but just to be 100% sure, I ran a hose clamp around the fitting and the rear master to ensure that it could not fail.
