sprocket and chain

I need to buy two new sprockets and a chain for my gixxxer. Anyone know a few good places to get everything? and anyone know the stock gearing on a 05 gixxxer 750? Also... is it hard to break a chain and repair a link? any place to buy the tools? iv never done it and figured id give it a try because I'll prolly have to add a few links or something. Im planning on running -1 in the front and +10 in the rear with a XO chain or if theres something better for stunting.

thx in advance!

Re: sprocket and chain

Use a grinder to break the links, buy 2 C-Links, get 4-5 extra links of chain that MATCH THE SIZE AND STYLE of your original chain (not sure exactly how many extra links you'll need... just grab a used chain from a buddy or a slavage yard) hook em up to your old chain with the C-Links, add some elbow greese to make sure they're on tight and away you go with your extended chain. Some people like to use wire etc. to reinforce the C-Clips and make sure they don't fly off... but it is optional.

At least this is how I do it, I was shown how to do it the "right" way once, and now, with a variation of that technique, I do all my own chains... never had a problem (knock on wood).

Hope it works out.

I have a -1 front sprocket for you and a +2 rear. Will fit under your stock chain too.
