Exclamation To buy a '00 ZX6R for stunting or NOT?!?! PLS HELP ASAP

hey guys..ok...im changing my style to slow stunts, ive been doing highway stuff for a few years now and i want to get into this slow stuff...

I fould a 2000 ZX6R for 800 bucks...salvage title, runs decent enough. broke stator cover so they never run it long.

OK the deal is...im trying to see if i like this slow stuff, i dont want to drop a full paycheck into a f4i or fuel injected bike.

WHats the real story behind stunting carb bikes? I mean is it really a pain to learn on? can i not go longer than 30 feet? if im doing a sick stunt on one, and the bike bogs out and dies will i be in trouble?

also are there any sites to making your own cages and 12'oclocks? im a mech engineer so i think i can save a few bucks and build a custom cage.

So is it worth 800 bucks plus gearing, cage, and 12 bar? or is it going to frustrate the CRAP out of me and will i go out and spend 2 grand on a injected bike?

let me know what you guys think!

+1 Had one didnt have any problems with it never really tried bar tricks on it that would probably be the only downfall. I like the front end of those bike had a hyperpro on mine and stoppies were smooth as hell.

Re: To buy a '00 ZX6R for stunting or NOT?!?! PLS HELP ASAP

the only thing you will have problems with is bar tricks (and they are gay anyways).... my bike is carb and the only issue i have is when i crash or drop it they are a b1tch to get restarted, as anyone else knows... but if it runs for 800 bucks why the hell now.... 50s are more expensive than taht

You don't need sprockets to start stunting
