Re: 1000rr any good for stunting?

wheelie in neutral...that's funny!!

I can't remember who it was, but someone was handed one at a competition once and he said it had too much power for stunting. He did some stuff on it but was uncomfortable. I do remember he usually rode a 929 or 954, so I didn't think it would be that much of a difference, but I guess he said it was.

I guess it's like anything...you can stunt anything out there once you figure out the sweet spots. Hell, anyone that has $10K to shell out for a bike that is gonna be beat on....go for it. Or he can buy my ZX6r for $8K and we are both happy!

Re: 1000rr any good for stunting?

I had one, lots of low and mid power to deal with, not the best bike to learn on at all. I could do a lot better if I rode it now but I got rid of it. those things are NICE for stoppies and fun on the streets

the more power the better. but I just totalled my gixxer1k. Picked up a brand new sv650s. Personally I think 600 and 750 are better for stunts. 1k are better for hiway and running from the cops.

yeah, um, seeing how I pretty much stunt all the time, it's better to have a bike for that. if I did highway stuff all the time and ran from the popo, I'd have kept the 1krr

I'd have to agree. Besides, riding hiway and doing tricks isnt the best way to keep your skin. The ground hurts that fast.

That would be darius when him and a bunch of other top level riders when to an international comp in Australia i think it was? Yea he said too much power but he managed to pull off no handers, circles all the same after some practice. And a while after the comp where he rode one he bought one.

Do a search in the vid section for 1000RR stunting...I forget who it is but they got a stock repsol replica rockin nasty stoppies, scraping pipe, slow *** wheelies, and circles.

I'de def like one for the streets, those shizzez are straight gangsta :YEAH
