What do you think ?

Re: What do you think ?
I think it's not worth the hassles. I stick with parking lots, shows, comps, etc. One of my buddies was killed on a saturday night while we were out riding wheelies to be respectable.......it's not quite worth it to me. just my 2cents!

I remember holding bp for miles with no rear brake. All throttle and body position. I think some of the younger guys (parking lot pimps) might have trouble doing it. High speed wheelis that is. May not be as entertaining to watch these days but still some fun ish!

Re: What do you think ?
I like to see a well rounded rider, who can throw down sick combos like Nick apex, or highchair circles like Eric Hoenshell, or rock high chairs on the freeway for miles like Andy from Shockers(I think that's his name, forgive any misspellings), or just rip like the ghost rider. I think someone who only focuses on one aspect of their riding is missing out. A great clip is when Darius, in "Servin It Up III" is just ripin around in this stunt spot, just swingin his bike, extremely sick style, and he looks like he's just havin fun. .

Re: What do you think ?
I lose a lot of respect when i hear ppl say they have never left the lot. This sports roots are in the streets and expressway. I still luv that ****, call me a squid or whatever. Now mind u Im not saying to ride a wheelie everywhere u go, you def gotta be careful and kno when and where its all good to do.
Im sorry to hear about your friend RIP

Re: What do you think ?
I dont ride the streets alot but I will kill it if I feel like it. I would never give up doing wheelies on the street. It probably does hold the sport back a little but then again I drive like a ****ing maniac everday! Doing 180 on the freeways isnt legal either. It's alot harder to get away with doing stupid **** in cars than on bikes.

Re: What do you think ?
We just had a bike cruise/street session (here in Hawaii) yesterday with around 100 bikes. We were shooting footage for RaceSauce RaceFactory DVDs. Definitely fun, but dangerous stuff on the street/freeway with a lot of bikes & cars, what-have-you. Mana was doing some sick combos & everyone else was "rockin" it as well. But yes, you can't forget the streets...

Re: What do you think ?
Streets, dirt, trackdays, highways, I just like to ride and show off...everyones got their own spots but its pretty sad to hear a guy who can rock circles and cant pull up third gear on the freeway. GET SOME ROOTS MAN!!

Re: What do you think ?
there definitely is a time and a place for everything,
to see someone fine tune and have on lock all aspects of riding is cool, but i think the highways these days are just too much of a gamble and a waste of time,
unless you wheelie past a school bus full of kids or a car full of hot b*tches....then it doesnt matter

Re: What do you think ?
I think the streets is where its at.... Watching someone kill the streets with just a normal stand up is way sicker than watching someone do circles over and over again....
I ride my bike alot on the streets and I kill it everytime... from stand ups to sit downs to combos to acrobatics to endos... thats how it should be when you ride the streets whether its to work, to the store, to a bike night, or just to ride...

Re: What do you think ?
yeah you need to do it all.....man i miss the 120 mph smoke pouring off the front tire when it sits down ****, black landing marks all over the highway tellin your bros about the nasty tank slap......that **** was fun. and now it's no handed O combos...if i could do the **** i do now back then, they would be saying Darius, tech, mana,woods... who?
