Re: winter clutch finger exercises

I get a sore wrist every spring from clutching too. I have device called a grip master. It's just a spring loaded handle that you squeeze. I guess I'll find out if it works in a few months.

according to your link... 90% of stunt-riders use that lever, i guess I'm part of the 10%.

and I can do it with only 1 finger on my 636, although I just started doing it like that.

Re: winter clutch finger exercises

yeah, i don't believe the #'s but..... i talked to my mechanic friend, and he said it'd work unless my clutch cable is whats wrong, but it's not.....also i took it apart yesterday (you have to to install it, so i decided to see how it works) it's about like the mod where you extend the clutch pull that your clutch cable hooks into coming out of your motor.... except it's neater looking

Re: winter clutch finger exercises

My stock R1 lever set-up is fine. I just get a sore finger at the beginning of the season. I can't ride for **** the next day because my finger is so stiff.

I think I'll but the MSR easy pull lever.

Re: winter clutch finger exercises

I installed a rearset, handle bar and clutch on my office chair and I practice rear brake control and clutching up while leaning back making bikes sounds and trying not to loop out........

Re: winter clutch finger exercises

Seriously just get an easy pull lever and youll think your cable snapped or someone forgot to install your clutch springs......
