Drew Stone directing new film "Passion & Brotherhood" and looking for footage.

Drew Stone is directing a new Stunt-Bike film titled "Passion & Brotherhood..This Thing Of Ours"

The film will stand by itself on it’s own merits and the intention is for it not to be a part of the Urban Street-Bike Warriors series.

This is the first time I’m putting together a film that I did not predominantly shoot myself. As you know this in itself poses a great challenge, which I believe that I am up for. I am soliciting footage right now from crews and individual riders from all over the world. This is an open call to everyone and anyone who is looking for exposure and has a desire to be in one of my films. The exposure of this film will be global. If this is something you have interest in being involved in drop me a PM and I’ll provide you with the details. Don't be shy, step up.

If interested you will need to submit 10 Min. (no more, no less) of footage on a Mini DV tape in order to be involved with this unique and exciting project. Space is limited and filling up fast so those that get their submissions in first will most likely “Make The Cut” if their footage is decent. If you want to be involved with this project don’t “Sleep On It”.

We ALL want to hear from some new people and see some new faces!!!!

Let’s do this!

All the best

Drew Stone

Wow what a friggin response!!! An avalanche of people have PM'd from around the world and I have much to sort out. I'm really glad some people are excited about this and are getting motivated.

I will be posting the parameters of the project very soon. I will require the footage on a Mini DV Tape. The sort of footage and how long will be addressed soon.

The deadline will be sometime around March/April (After Stuntwars and all that). This is a fun project for me and I'm real interested in seeing what kind of footage shows up here for me to edit. The whole breakdown of this new project will be detailed in the next Stone Films NYC Newsletter (#3) that is going out next week. If you have not signed up for it yet please do so at www.stonefilmsnyc.com

More to come

All the best

I was rushed so let me elaborate...

I think that it's good that a well known video maker is willing to take the time to sort through all the amatuer video footage, because there should be A LOT OF FOOTAGE, in order to present all the unknown names to everyone in the stunt world. It's good that the "little guys" in Cali will get to see the "other little guys" in NY or FL all in one video, instead of 10 or 14 teams that we've already seen in other vids. Could be a good chance for the shops/businesses looking to sponsor to shop for prospective riders.

Exactly!! That's why it's very important that the guidelines for submission are followed. Chances are I'm not going to accept any more than 10 min of footage from ANYONE. People are going to have to do a little work themselves and not send me an hour of crap for me to sort thru. People are going to have to submit their "Greatest Hits" (Riding as well as dialoge) when the time comes. Everyone who has responed with a PM has been noted and will be contacted within the next few days.

This is a challenge for me as well in the air since shooting footage is a big part of me putting a film together. I know there is some great stuff out there and I look foreward unleashing my "Wu-Tang Style" and cutting it.

I DON'T WANT TO PUT ONE FACE IN THIS FILM THAT'S BEEN SEEN BEFORE.

Is it possible to send a collaboration of Aussie Riders (The BEST OF) so to speak? For 10 mins of cut down footage I dont know if I have enough of one team or rider? I am keen to get some Aussie talent in their for sure though

Re: Drew Stone directing new film "Passion & Brotherhood" and looking for footage.

Allright boys "Passion & Brotherhood" is starting to take it's own form based on your response;

Once again; THIS FILM IS OPEN TO EVERYONE ON THE PLANET EARTH. This includes Australia, Tenn. & Alaska!! Both crews and individual riders are welcome to the party.

It's official, A segment on each of the following subject matters sorts some things out and will focus a few people (Including myself) up.

1) Quads - I've already seen some great footage so let's make a great quad segment in the film!!!!
2) 50's - As some know a while back I was going to "Drop the hammer" on a 50 film but other priorities intervened. I'm stoked to get some great 50 footage and cut a nasty segment. Can you hear me Big Whiteboy Matt???
3) "Ice Ride-in" - Let's do this you guys!! Arctic Assault from Alaska you're on!! Pat in NH and all you other N.E. Cont. guys let's get out on the ice. I would like to come out and shoot some of this if I can in upstate New York or even closer to home here in Vermont. McNeil Bros?

So that's Three strong subject matters right there that will give some of us an initial direction. There is a new newsletter going out next week that is going to address this new film in detail. Sign up for it at www.stonefilmsnyc.com

More to come.
