Re: Stunt With or Without Health Insurance?
I have awsome insurance through work... I have to pay an extra $3 a week for participating in extreme sports so If I break a leg or **** I wont loose money because I will be off work and it will cover my bills when Im laid out... only $50 at the hopsital for any ER visit no matter how much the final bill is... so far I have used it once since I smacked that tree.

Re: Stunt With or Without Health Insurance?
It depends on if you want a future or not. If you want to be able to go buy a car, or a house or anything like that one day then DO NOT stunt without heath insurance. If you dont give a damn about your credit or your future then go right ahead.
I racked up 40Gs (and that isnt that much.. in fact its extremely easy to do) in medical bills with no insurance and it has ruined my credit. I am 26 years old and for the last year I have been paying between 1 and 3 grand a month just trying to get this **** off my plate and it has still ****ed my credit because before I got a decent job I just let that **** stack up.
Trust me.. you do not want to **** your credit up in this day and age. Your credit effects everything. Your car insurance, your rent, your ability to get your own place whether you are renting or buying, car, phone, anything and everything. Dont put yourself in that position.
Unless you have an endless supply of sugga mommas get some damn health insurance.. its anywhere from 100 to 200 a month if you are a healthy single non smoker.. and if you smoke.. lie.

Re: Stunt With or Without Health Insurance?
If you stunt without atleast cheap Health Ins, your gonna hate life after you get an injury that takes you to the hospital. Blue Cross has some pretty cheap plans.
I pay $44 a month and I get some pretty good coverage. Broke my wrist recently and paid like 30% of $10,000. The $44 month is well worth it....

Yo...I got great health insurance, but when i didn't, I applied through the state which took several weeks for approval and document production. You guys should do the same thing in your state.

Re: Stunt With or Without Health Insurance?
In my opinion, you should have it no matter what. I never cared much about having insurance, but I had a situation that woke me up. I was just sitting at home, and I got a terrible pain in my side. Turns out that my appendix ruptured, but I let it go for a couple days without knowing. I just thought I ate something that didn't agree with me. While waiting for the pain to get better, an infection spread through my lower abdomen, and I got gaingreene (sp?) in part of my intestines. The resulting bill was over $50,000. If I didn't have insurance, I'd still be paying that now. That just happened- I didn't do anything to cause it, and had always been healthy. You never know when something crazy is gonna pop up.
