I've been riding 8 years, trying to make a business out of selling used sport bikes for 4+, trying to make a business out of salvaging bikes for about 2.5 years.

In all this time I've seen one blown Honda motor. One of my friends had a radiator hose come off in a hairy multi-city, multi-cop, police chase on his track beaten bike, blew the headgasket and warped the head.

The only bikes I usually come across with motor damage are Suzukis and Ducatis, hell, I've got an 02 GSXR 1K with a blown motor right now.

I've still got my first bike, it's an F3 with over 100K miles. 2nd gear is out and the fork seals are blown, but the motor is fine.

I guess it depends on where you are looking.
