Re: 600rr vs gsxr 750

now i see where you got your knowledge from krazy8z... lol

stuntlife is horrible for advice!!!
hahahahaha..
you drama queens... I'm with Artitom on this.. my 05 gixxer.. is by far the best stunt bike I have ever ridden.. BUT!!!

i'm going to be riding an f4i for the first time ever in two weekends.. i'm stoked to try a honda...

as far as engines blowing up.. HA.. ever motorcycle engine blows up... depends on the rider.. depends on how you ride it... depends on amount of oil being reused and put in... you can't justify which makes or model's engines blow up more... thats just being poopy...

I've ridden an 954 before.. that was the only honda I have ever ridden.. but that was when I was just learning to wheelie... I would love to try it again...

seems the more boggy and sluggish the bike is.. the better wheelie machine is.. but if and when you get good at ****.. that doesn't matter.. and the new 636's are now a hot shot... but ride one.. and its touchy and very sensative in the throttle.. but seems thats how all the newer bikes are getting... SNAP!

Re: 600rr vs gsxr 750

haha. ya, i've been doing some research over here....figured there's *some* knowledgable people over here...

the latest conclusion i'm drawing from all this is... yes, the BP is higher on rr's due to the engine placement - but every bike is different, and practice is what it takes.

i'm going to ride the rr this weekend (if it dries up) and i'll play with clutching it a bit and seeing if i can get lift off on the front wheel...cause if I can do that, i have no fear that i'll get it to come up to BP eventually. The key is to learn the bike and respect it... haha. well...something like that. i've really been getting such mixed reviews...i guess you either love em or hate em.

i've ridden a couple 954's...i LOVED em...and that's what i wanted back in the day - the they were more spendy than an older gix...so ya. i don't think we can really compare a 954 to a 600rr though..

I've personally seen 3 f4i motors go with guys I ride with and my gixxer still lives for the past 2 years after 10,000+ miles of stunting.

He told me the bike has to be pretty high to hit the BP compared to any other bike which means less room for error.

this is true-1000 same way-

Re: 600rr vs gsxr 750

def go with the 600rr man... you'll like it a lot more. a couple of my buddies got gsxr750's and they all wish they had my 600rr to stunt on. oh and when you drop 1 on the front and go up 11 on the rear it's an awesome bike to play on. haha...

it just so happens i was around when gil dented in his rr tank. he dented it in with phone book and hammer with the tank cover off... then heated up each area of the tank cover really carefully with a blower heater and while it was hot he carefully pressed it in section by section. it took much longer than usual, but it came out very neat looking.

tried using a heat gun, but its too damaging. then we ran to home depot grabbed some grip tape and he was doing spreaders the rest of the night.

he really likes it. i kinda like it too, but don't tell him i said that.

Re: 600rr vs gsxr 750

if you go with the rr make sure you a someone that can weld on stand by. the rr frames is junk and i know for a fact f/i cages crack the **** of of the front ears. i've been riding a 02 gixxer 600 for about a year know, and i agree there days that i just want to throw the bitch off a bridge, but thats with any bike, but i feel if i can be ganster on a junk bike just wait until im on a better bike.

and to clear up the how motor blowing debate, i've seen f4i and gixxer motors blow, its all in how you take care of your ****, i mean of course of you do 12oclock burn outs for 10 minutes at a time of course any motor will blow. make sure you put a oil pickup on ur **** it cost 60 bucks and it will save you hundreds.

It is a little diff. to get used to the balance pt., but very nice to ride...smooth throttle....plenty of power.:YEAH
and everyone thinks they have a touchy throttle they need to ride a 05 gsxr600 the 600rr has a much smoother throttle or maybe a little less power than my gix

I'm a Honda guy and just found it amusing that you said "trade up for a 600rr" from your 750. I think it sounds like you already know the answer to the question

trying to cover all my bases before i go and buy a 600rr for stunt and come to realize i've put myself in a weird situation due to a more difficult stunt bike.

what's with all this gixxer hate? i love gixxers! *runs and hides*
Two words, heat gun.
