Re: 600rr vs gsxr 750

I have stunted the 600rr in question and I like it alot...and I have had nothing but gsxr's.

It is a little diff. to get used to the balance pt., but very nice to ride...smooth throttle....plenty of power.:YEAH

Re: 600rr vs gsxr 750

ok, i'm catching the honda drift here...but help me out.

i have an 01 gixxer6 right now. it was a race bike for a year, yadda yadda....it's pretty nice and it's set up for street/track right now.

there's an 03 600rr with about 4k miles on the motor that i can get for 3k. perfect price. i want a 2nd bike as i want one dedicated street/track bike and one dedicated *play* bike. my thought is to get the 600rr and stunt it (i originally thought i'd use the gix). the RR isn't titled and has race skins on it. i'm thinking i'll street fighter it and have a really nice play bike and keep the gix for the streets. but well, parts are harder to find on the 600rr and i'm sure i'll be breaking stuff. i've not seen many 600rr's out there stunting in my circle, cause we've all got the gixxer/900/929/954 fever...

anyway, any opinions on the 600 vs 600rr? (i have a feeling i'm going to get the same "600rr" response as with the 750 vs 600rr...but thought i'd throw it out there)

do it... the gixxers are great streetbike but garbage for stunting and the hondas are tanks.... and your right, 600rr parts are harder to find, but for some reason they are cheaper too. i guess its becuase everyone is scavenging for f4i parts

I got a local guy around here starting a salvage yard that has a fever for 600rr's and gizzer750's............sold me both rearsets, with pegs, lever, electrical switches, and heat sheilds for $60 while another more well known slavage yard was selling one side, bracket only for $65!!!!!

and its my secret biotches, all mine

j/k I'll share the secret with my 600RR brotherin, but you Gix fools need to see the light first!

Re: 600rr vs gsxr 750

question - the 600rr has a plastic tank, right? how do you do highchairs and stuff if you can't dent the tank? what's your fix? lots of grip tape rippin through your jeans??

trying to cover all my bases before i go and buy a 600rr for stunt and come to realize i've put myself in a weird situation due to a more difficult stunt bike.

what's with all this gixxer hate? i love gixxers! *runs and hides*

Re: 600rr vs gsxr 750

do you catch idle and ride for 10 min+ on the back wheel and do circles, if so you'll find out they blow up. i've seen alot of blown up gixxer motors, only seen 1 honda motor blown
