Re: Freestyle Ingenuity's New Cage Designs!

i dont think any one gets the concept of an fi cage its a cage for highly exsperanced rider unles you own an f4i. yes i do have one on my 05 gixer 6 but i hardly drop my shiit any more and when i do its just a fall over not a pancake. so for any one who recks hard as hell all day get a tube style cage ie 905 powers mxd

fact is that no matter what cage you put on your bike...if you slam it hard enough things are going to break.

I've had both 905 and FI cages and if you slam it hard, it will break something

I will tell you right now I have one of the first cages that Tim (F.I.) made for the F4i. still holding up, loop is bent but other than that it's still together.

P.S. I have the origonal motor and stator covers from 01' and i bought it new... haha

compleatly understood however on most bike besides the f4i the mounting points are ont the weekist dam motors mount and with the slider when you hit hard it will bend or brake it right off. on the f4i it mounts up in the middle of the fram so not as much impact is taken. thats why i said to get a tube style cage because it take the impact in a copple different mounting points insted of the weekist one.
