will the 98-01 wheel fit on the 02-03 r1?
does anyonw know if a 98-01 front wheel will fit on a 02-03 r1. i keep hearign that they are difrent but they look dam near the same. if there is a difrence then what is it. thanks.

98 - 03 R1 use the same front wheels.
calipers are the same (minus gold/blue from different years).
I have an 03 R1 with 04 5-spokes on it. You can use the 04 wheels as long as you use 05 R6 rotors with 10mm washers and on the back you need an 04 cush and 04 rotor.
I used the 04 front end to put the front wheel on.
98 - 03 R1 use the same front wheels.
