DoodleF4i can only hope to improve
Re: 636 -vs- f4i

f4i,cuz its honda and will take a beating like no other..tons of parts for them from like 98-06 even a lot of f4 parts will work...shitty cuz the front end isnt the best.

636,real light, good front end..wont take much of a beating..was only made for 03-04 so not very many parts and cost a lot..

ive ridden both..03 and 05 636..f4i felt better to me..

Re: 636 -vs- f4i

i'm a honda fan but i felt more comfortable on the zx-6r. Balance point felt closer to my 929 than the f4i. And this is judgement on riding both bikes the same day for 15 minutes each.

Re: 636 -vs- f4i

i own both.. both feel good, 636 does endo better.. f4i takes more abuse.. i like them both the same. but i use my kawa for street use mostly now simply cuz the f4i can take more abuse without shattering.

(636) do what kane did... block off the crankcase breather hose and drill and tape the valve cover, rig alittle chimney thing and put a little filter on it...

I like the smoothness of the f4i, but not the balance point or the seating position. 636 for me.

Re: 636 -vs- f4i

good perspective of both sides.

im trying hard to make a decision.. and m pretty hard on my bikes as far as breaking sht....

honda fan.. but seems everyone thinks the 636 is the lightest bike to throw around.?

is it not front heavy like most bikes or what ?

why does it "FEEL" like its lighter ?

the actual weight cant be that different ?

Re: 636 -vs- f4i

true.. the only real weak part would be the fairing stay get a 905 on the 636.. and you'll be fine, everyone crashed and ****, basically its like a gixxer frame, slame it down hard enough a bunch of times sure it'll crack. but its still a real good bike. i like both.

Re: 636 -vs- f4i

i'm looking to get a 636 and sell my 900. I've rode my buddy's 6R and I love it, he's also been learning tricks left and right, and makes it look easy. I've been Honda guy for awhile, started out in the day with Kawasaki's. I think I'll be riding a kawa here in the near future.

Re: 636 -vs- f4i

f4i's are slow but take the abuse like no other i have seen besides the 900 also a Honda. 636 rear sets are weak the neck of the frames are also weak. like both just the f4i more
