Kawi Zx6Rr is an amazing, sexy, agressively style well to do bike with a very strong yet balance and forgiveable motor...

its screams nicley at high revs, still looks like sportbike with the clipons under the tripple like they should be.

inverted forks, with radial mount brakes are amazing for stoppies.. even on ice.. ask teach.

the motor takes a beating unlike anything ive ever seen..

its extremely light and nimble..

only downside is like zac said, weak rearsets....

I love my kawi.. i have changed completely as a riders since switching to it.

I dont really know if the gas smell is from the throttle bodies but i put tank spacers on the sides of the tank to help stablize the tank and keep it off the air box. the side to side movement of the tank to airbox is what messed mine up and phils too. so i took the rubber pieces a 929 has on the sides of their tanks and put them on my 636. it seemed to work so far.

i can't agree more,i've improved 10 folds on my 636, and yes, they are SWEET for stoppies.....of course i'm compairing this to a 900rr, but it seems as if front tire slide outs were almost eliminated compared to a 900

Re: 636 -vs- f4i

let me just throw in another 3 or 4 cents. I just picked up a 636 that was hit by a cement truck. the kid on the bike almost died and the cement truck rolled over. the bike looked like hammered dog ****. I didn't think I could save anything but it was cheap w/ a clean title.

well I bushed the f-cker off. the frame is trashed. bent soooo bad that the bottom right motor mount was ripped off and it tore open the gear box. (I clamped it together and welded it back up.) yea that motor is in my stunt bike.

Perfect:
front brake lever
front rotors (wheel is marginal)
rear rim
forks
guages
right mirror
subframe
swing arm
right rearset and peg LOL
rigth side plastic
seats

there's more but goddamn it got hit by a CEMENT TRUCK!!!!!!!!

hell if this thing had my cage and upper faring stay on it I think the cement truck would have done more than roll over

your motor is cooked. just let the water boil back out. it will run fine for a while @ 300 degrees like my old one did. it just boiled the water out whenever it ran LOL
