Right now my F4i has a mint -2 +10 525 conversion, but its kinda like as soon as you hit the throttle it jumps back, my -1 +18 F2 is smoother but that might be the carbs.

Do you think that +16 stock front would be better or should I use -1 or stock front +10 for now?

Dude its cuz its fi. My f2 is -1 +17, my f4i is stock, and the f4i is still a much twitchier throttle.

What I was getting at is +16 smoother than -2 +10 because all the gearing is on the rear sprocket instead of the counter.

Damn maybe I should have gone with an F4, I don't plan to do bar tricks at all and I prefer banana seats..

gearing is gearing, -2 +10, stock front +18 same exact thing. dont matter if u put it up front or out back its gearing. FI is twitchier but sooo much nicer when u wreck

Changing the sprockets increases the gear ratio, its just a number, It doesnt matter if you change the front or the back.


I have an F4 tail on my f4i cuz i like the comfortable seat too. You could easily find an f4 owner to trade tails with you and give you some cash on top of it. F4i tails are money right now and F4 tails are cheap.

I'll do it when I move to st louis area, my tail section isn't "mint" either it's cut but the subframe is good minus a few holes drilled for the 12 bar.
