HB & Clutch

Did you cut your clutch lever down or adjust the engagement on the clutch to be tight?

I cant get the levers worked out to where I can pull clutch & still use the brake. I've been trying pointer finger on clutch and middle finger on brake.

Re: HB & Clutch

how come ppl dont put the HB on the right side of the bars instead of left.. that way it will be both brakes on the right side and just the clutch on left??
anyone try this .. or does it have dis advantages

TEACH C6 will become famous soon enough
Re: HB & Clutch

you need a shorty clutch lever, then trim the hb lever down slightly. your fingers are right. clutch on top, hb on bottom.

Re: HB & Clutch

I saw Tony D with one back in the day at LSBB. Think he was the only guy at the time. Him or Scott Harmon.

Teach, yeah I got a shorty, but its the Raptor and it has a HUGE bulb on the end. Ill trim that down and give it another go. Gotta get the bike runnin first

forgot his name, but that guy that was parallized from the waist down in USBW1 i think, had one

i have a zx7 clutch for the HB w/ raptor clutch and it(the bike) rolled up on over it an busted the raptor lever so, i don't think that'd be a bad idea trimming it

to use them both at the same time

I've got a msr clutch lever on top of a zx7 hydro clutch. And i've got the clutch lever cut very short so i can pull it all the way in with my index finger and still use the brake with my middle finger.

Actually, you are correct sir, Ronnie was the first, and I believe I was the second, cause I called him to find out how he had his setup.....

mine was done and installed on my 'ol F3 back in February 2002.... of course I didn't figure out how to use it until middle of 2003...... lol
