What Was This Cop Thinking?

My buddy and I were stunting in a Target parking lot the afternoon before Hurricane Rita hit. The lot was completely empty and no one was around, so we figured there wouldn't be a problem. Of course a piggy rolls up and circles the lot a couple times before pulling up to us. As he pulls up, he is holding an open pocket knife out at us and says, "If I see you guys doing that stupid **** again, I'm going to slash your tires". When that didn't seem to phase us, he continued to act like an *** by saying, "What are y'all going to do when you fall off and get hurt and there is no one around to help you, maybe the hurricane will wash your bodies away." My buddy was like, "yeah, maybe so." Then he said, "So why are you riding in the parking lot, because it's empty?". We said yeah, and he said, "It's always empty". We just looked at him like he was crazy, because there are usually plenty of cars in that parking lot on a normal day. Anyway, he told us to pack it up and get out of there, so we got his name and badge number and left. When we got back to the house, we called in and talked to his supervisor who couldn't believe what we were telling him. He said that he was going to immediately call the officer in and have a talk with him, because that conduct was completely unacceptable. He told us what we already knew from past encounters with the cops. He said we could go back out to the parking lot and ride all we wanted to, because it wasn't against the law as long as we weren't on a public roadway or the owner of the property didn't complain or have any no trespassing signs posted. I just can't believe that some cops think they can talk to people like that.

Re: What Was This Cop Thinking?

Fun.. lol.. here is one for you.. My buddy jeff.. took one of his friends bikes to do some work on it.. and change the back tire.. so he got the tire off and remounted.. and put the brakes back on.. and all that.. anyway.. he took the bike for a test ride to see if everything was working properly.. so.. he goes for the ride and half way through it he gets pulled over.. and cornered by 5 cops.. and they all were accusing him.. of running from the cops the other day.. and he was like.. your crazy.. he told the cops it was his friends bike and he was taking it for a test ride.. because he just did work to it.. so the cops had a description.. of what the guy that was running had on when they were chasing him.. lol.. it was a Yellow and black jacket with a black helmet.. ok.. my buddy jeff has a Blue and black jacket.. and a white and blue helmet with a mo-hawk.. Ok..??? .. so the cops were threatening to arrest him.. the cops said they wanted to check his house to see if he had any of the riding gear that was in the description.. jeff agreed.. the cops.. by that i mean.. all of them.. came to his house and looked in his closet and his shop.. basically they searched his whole house.. and then.. left.. didn't say sorry or anything.. just said.. keep clean.. and left.. how ****ed up is that.. ???

I thought he should file and complaint.. but around here cops and jury's don't care .. if you ride a bike.. your guilty.. its sorta sad... just thought i would share that with you.. -rich

Re: What Was This Cop Thinking?

I used to want to be a cop. Since I started riding rockets and being harassed for petty sh** because of the bike I ride, I have lost all interest. D*cks like this just reinforce my view more and more....
