seems to be too many problems with doing this... I might just scrap the whole idea

Re: 2 fans?
I put two fans on my gsxr600 '01. It used to run 225 and up all day. I tied both fans into the same switch and put a piece of metal in the sensor (making it run all day), now it wont run hotter then 180-190.

Re: 2 fans?
i left the stock fan alone and ran the second fan with a switch, i leave it on in a lot and it runs under 180-190. the stock fan never even runs
i havnt had any mounts break yet..guess well se how long that lasts

Re: 2 fans?
My RR was running hot, so I got 4 computer fans and hooked them up. I put two on either side of the bikes fan. Fits perfect. I wired them up to come on when the keys on. Their not big enough to put a load on the battery and it runs ALOT cooler. The bikes fan hardly comes on now... :YEAH

Re: 2 fans?
i run 2 fans, alot of the burn our tricks, chainsaws, lawnmowers ect. heat up the motor quic. like darius said, add some re enforcement to the mounts or yours will be held on with muffler strap and zip ties like mine is...lol. run them both at the same time off a switch, as long as your stator is good it wont drain the batt. only time mine comes off the trailer is for shows and practice anyways, i dont do any long street sessions anymore

Re: 2 fans?
F4/F4i radiators are bunk.. Killed my 3rd one earlier this week just how DerekLee said, it fell off its loop and pulled the mount apart.
I like the idea of drilling the frame. I'll try that next with my new frame/radiator. .

Re: 2 fans?
i just run the fan with a toggle switch and flip it on right when im at 180. if you run it full time like that it keeps the temp down because your not getting up to 220-230 and then having the fan kick in. although on my 900rr it would keep the temp around 190 doing that, my 600rr runs way hotter for some reason no matter what i do
