WTF he says I could probably go ten plus miles without too much trouble. I think people need to go out and drive 10 miles and see how long that is. Or maybe the promblem is, that everyones bikes are geared so high that there speedo says they went 10 miles, but really it's only 3 miles.

I am from the show me state, how about you have someone follow you and tape that **** and post it. A car should not have any trouble keeping up with you. When I see 10 min's of wheelie then I will buy it. Thats for anyone I want to see some 5+ mile wheelies on video.

my personal best is bust over a mile ... and my arms were dead after . that was front pegs , 5th gear on a 1 down 12 up zx6 . the best ive seen would be a draw between ed from legion and my friend steve . steve went about 7 miles or so on a stock geared gixx 750 untill the motor blew

I wouldn't film a long wheelie, it's boring. the only thing that changes is the scenery.

First off You need to watch C&I 3. Dennis is doing a 14 mile sitdown.
Second The best that ive ACTUALLY recorded was 2.4 miles on a narrow 2 lane road with twists and turns and hills. Bike was a STOCK 929 and staggered stance. I was on this oll country road and it was an alright road but not the best. When I set it down my whole body hurt like hell. LOL. I really surprised the **** out of myself that day cause that road is crazy curvy.
Peace Justin

I got a witness, who has seen Patrick Stephens wheelie from Orlando to Tampa! He did it a few years ago while riding with Evasive Actions down there. When he was in Buffalo this summer I asked him about and sho nuff! The story was confirmed by the man himself!
P.s. you don't have to believe that jumping out of an airplane without a parachute will kill you, but it will!

That is the longest wheelie I've ever seen on video. It's a hell of an accomplishment, but it sure gets boring to watch someone do a smooth, controlled wheelie for 35-40 minutes. It's fun to watch him wave at other bikers, and even cops, as they go by the other direction (with a median seperating them). Check out the DVD to see it for yourself.

I can only ride about a mile or so at 55 in third gear on a -1+10 929. I have seen Ed and John from legion ride 5+ miles many times while riding with them. The only thing is they go from standing to SS to sitting and back again and the even throw in some spreaders too.

Man thats only 80 some miles, thats nothing my boy rode one from Philly to Texas. His biggest problem was when he had to refuel. See he was going a steady 190 mph+ on his ninja 250. And the only way he could refuel at that speed was to bring in jets, so my other buddys dad let us use his jet, so while he was going down the highway he would have jet right next to him. I then would hang upside down with a gas can and fill up his bike. It was a little tricky at first but I got the hang of it. O yeah there are witness's to.

My boy Mike and Paul have both killed exits on I95 and I mean exits, not miles man. Traffic, cops, slow down, speed up whatever. I can do a mile or so and my forearm feels like its gonna explode.

Re: Long A$$ Wheelie's
Nobody does it like Texas boys. Not just Greg (the 41 miles video), but the OLD SCHOOL, (also non existing, lol), Houston Hooligans, every night doing 15 to 20 miles, all stock, before we all had bars and junk. Bikes ranged from gixx 750's to 929's. Wish I had a copy of there video prototype that never came out it was by far the best. Rocking past cops, pulling over then ETL with 20 some bikes, scraping tail in bumper to bumper traffic (before anyone knew what a circle was) it was CRAZY, :YEAH

Dude, most of these guys have unreal brake and throttle control. There is no doubt it can be done once you have those on lock.
