Jd3 Sucks. Everybody That Is Estabilished In The Game Had Current Footage While The Others Were Made To Look Stupid.

If the footage was crap that's on the teams themselves...Judgment Day is and always has been put together with footage sent in by the teams so what they send in is how they are represented!!!!
Take it up with them if their shiat sucks

 

WRONG, THE FOOTAGE THAT WAS SENT IN WAS CURRENT WHEN TODD ASKED FOR IT. THEN THEY MAKE THE VIDEO A YEAR LATER? I MESSAGED TODD AFTER 10 MONTHS, WONDERING WTF AND HIS RESPONSE WAS TO SEND IN THE NEW FOOTAGE. NO WAY, AFTER 10 MONTHS WITH NO RESULTS I SAVED THE NEW FOOTAGE FOR OUR OWN PRODUCT. ON TOP OF THAT, THEY INCLUDED A BUNCH OF GAY-*** 4 WHEELERS INTO OUR SEGMENT AND NO ONE EVEN KNOWS WHO THE F#CK IT IS.

 

haha... no comment.. other than hahaha.

edit.. ok.. lesson to be learned here. I remember this from a while back. The moral of the story is, dont send in practice tapes. If you want to be in a compilation video, do a shoot and send those tapes in. If you send in tapes with random ****ers at the spot you filmed just incase they crashed, theres a good chance they will make it in the final video.

 

How long do you think it takes to put a DVD of that type together??? 1 week?? come on.. The quad thing...That's what's known as a filler...which tells me that the shiat you sent in had to be cut to hell to even make it in JD3 but, Todd gave you the benefit of the doubt and gave you your own segment anyway... I love how all you newbies have something to biatch about when someone gives you a huge break!!!

I know exactly what I'm talking about!! I have been on the sidelines of every single Judgment Day...Start to finish..Since the first.. Tell you what smart guys..You make a vid with that amount of teams..and try and please everyone..won't happen...Stick to riding bikes..If you're any good at it and leave the Editing to those that do the damn thing...

PSS Nick...I've been in this a loooooooooooooooooong time and if you as an editor don't know what filler is then don't quit your day job!!!!!!!! I'm not saying his points aren't valid I'm just saying if he doesn't like it he shouldn't have sent that footage in ...I'd love to see your vid I bet it's not 1/2 as good as JD3...shiat JD2 isn't as good as JD3

All I'm going to say is...... filler...... is....... bullshit............. a.... good.... video.... has...... no... filler. I did it slow so it would have enough time to sink in. If you're as deep as you say you are you would know my work and we wouldn't have this conversation. And to think I care about quality, continuity, and rider integrity....... you could watch my vid put out over a year ago and my riders still look good. here we go Vid 101 in the case of JD3: JD3 is compiled by segment in which every team has the time equal to one song...If the footage isn't enough to fill that segment they throw in Filler so that each team had a full segment.....If you challenge me on it again...I'm gonna have to go and call a spade a spade and say you don't know your editing shiat

 

your join date is less a lil over a year....who cares what tricks you can do...I've been in this industry for going on 6 years...so yes to me you're all newbies..Deal with it

 

Here is what I'm going to do...... I won't argue makeup with you, you don't try and talk about video work with me. Sound fair... because the next time you do I will have to mention song selection, clip length, track manipulation, or how about not being a hack... see these are simple words too, but I have a feeling they just don't have any meaning to you.
