905 cage cracked

905 cage cracked
im wondering if this is common or not. scraped last night for the first time and my big *** stock pipe sent me and the bike flying left. anyway the whole cage shifted to the right, and the right side cracked even though the bike landed on the left side. its kinda hard to see in the pic but it cracked right up by the weld. in the frontal view you can see how much further the cage is stickin out on the right side. any comments?

Re: 905 cage cracked
yeh i just emailed him. Im anxious to see what he says. I have no complaints about the cage at all, and absolutely nothing bad to say about racing905. Its still solid on there but i know it'll crack all the way through if it even tips over again. This was my first decent wreck, other than a minor 7mph lowside before. Anyway Ill post up and let you know what he says when he returns my email.

Re: 905 cage cracked
my bike(f2 w/905 cage) has taken 5-10hard hits it bent a little, but a few days later I crashed on the opposite side and it bent it back. No problems with it. Basically im saying that he puts out a solid product, but everything has a failure point. I think he will straighten it and weld it up for wicked cheap or free, and I also heard he can fix it and ship it out same day, depending how busy he is.
Or if you have a buddy with a welder, weld it up yourself, it'll save on down-time.

Re: 905 cage cracked
After you weld it, stand you bike up at 12 and drop it on the other side. Sounds like a ****stick way to mess your bike up, but this is a little trick that was passed down to me. Works like a charm.

Didn't you post a thread looking for someone to "hook you up" with a cage because your "home made" stuff wasn't working? "905" isn't "home made"
Not trying to cause trouble, but I would be willing to bet, most of the people on this site worked hard to buy thier cages(along with myself) from this online store or someone else's.
