Re: Is this possible?
owns me? YA OKAY . like i say enjoy the internet tough guy ****, no time for it . And his idea still is stupid and so is he for thinking of some **** like that. He was told it wasnt possible yet he cant grasp that reality, however i care not, its pointless and moronic, all he seems to do is try to be little others and thats chicken **** on the net. He may be older than i but he fails to act his age or in a real sense that most humans are capable of. He suffers from a bad case of dropage, his parents are at fault they dropped him .

Re: Is this possible?
yeah mate it deffinately 100% will end in desaster. for it to work this is wot would have to happen.
just say you were traveling along at 50mph, you would have to exit the rear of the trailer and hit the ground at a speed greater than 50mph in order to not continue in the same direction of the car and trailer.
If you were to exit the trailer, at say 10 mph you would now be treveling at 40mph but still in the same direction as the trailer was traveling. (keep in mind that in effect you are trying to ride at 40mph backwards).... and the bike would be in gear. As soon as the back tyre hit the ground it would lock up, probably flip but deffinately crash.
Please... to avaid being a candidate for a Darwin Award dont do it!!!!!!!

Re: Is this possible?
i guess i'll step in and stick up for FHL......
first of all, all he's doing is asking a question about the possible outcomes before he goes out and tries something...i wish i had of done the same before i tried some of the stupid **** i have done before, maybe i wouldnt have went ahead and done it and wound up all fugged up in a cast or having surgery.....THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A STUPID QUESTION!!!
next....you all say it CANT be done....going on the laws of physics, it CANT... if the trailer is moving at 50mph and the bike comes out at 10 mph your still moving 40mph in REVERSE....most likely the bike will stall and the rear tire is going to lock up and your going to do a reverse wheelie or loose controll and crash...THIS IS BY PHYSICS...but think of it this way too....if a bike is riding a wheelie and the bike passes it's point of balance..what should happen??? it should flip over backwards...but I see peoples pics and vids on here all the time where there bike is way past balance point but they still have controll of it...this is the result of trial and error... time and time again...so i personally think.....if someone had the ***** to try this over and over again until they had the right combination and sequence of maneuvers to keep the bike under controll it could be possible...the hardest part would be to keep controll when the bike first hits the ground...the 50mph-10mph=40mph...thats the **** that would definatly take some skill to do without getting your a$$ killed...im thinking maybe try the trailer 5mph..bike 10mph and when the bike lands you should be going FORWARD 5mph...then keep getting the truck a little faster just to see how the bike is going to react when it lands..then you should be able to figure out a way to counteract what the bike does....thats the landing part...now all you have to do is learn to ride that b!tch in reverse if you figure out how to save the landing...
the only problem with all of this is like someone else said about the tread mill....if you jump on a moving treadmill backwards...by the time you realize you can run in reverse...your already flat on your a$s....it's going to be the same on the bike(that is if you EVER learn to ride in reverse to start with)
so i DO think it could be done at a moderate speed..like 15 or 20mph...but not 50!!!
also...FHL said something about crashing through a garage door!!!!! have you ever hit your head on one?? they ****** hurt and they have STEEL braces holding them together... so unless your superman...you better hold off on that one..
THIS IS JUST MY 2cents.....but i have been called a dumbass before too...so ...thats all i need to say.

Who uses spell check? I've never used a spell check except for some words I don't use commonly in my vocabulary.

Re: Is this possible?
the reason you dont flip A 12 oclock is the result of Newtons 3rd law of motion: which states that for each force there is an equal and opposing force. I can only xeplain it like this. When you pass ballance point you apply the rear brake this is the opposing force. velosity and all this other jazz comes into it as well that i know nothing about. but the point is that iff you pass B.P and do not apply an oppossing force (brake) then you will flip,as the force pulling you to the ground (gravity) will be stronger. But please FHL dont try the trailer at 50mph trick
