12 Red Bull's later... (little story)

So I find out about a 636 from Ed, and it's a really good deal. I talk to the owner Thursday afternoon and find out that not only will i save a few hundred on shipping, but he'll take some off the price if i come and get it NOW! Problem is, I live by Philly and it's in HOTlanta!

So it's 3am Firday morning and Im headed out... LOL Drove down I-95 til i hit I-85 and took that the whole way there... total trip was 11 hours (averaging SLIGHTLY above the speed limit) Transaction took 2 hours, getting the title notarized and everything... sooooooo

4pm Friday and im headed home with my new stunter!!! 11 hours til im home...

Totals for the trip:

12 Redbulls (they COVERED the floor of my truck, see pic, LOL)
One GIANT bag of Salsa Doritos
2 Boxes of NERDS
one bag of skittles
1/2 bag of gummi bears
One viewing of the movie "Days of Thunder" (i have a portable DVD player in the truck, that was the only movie i had, LOL, still a good flick though)
One cycle thru all my CD's
A MickyD's double cheesburger and fries
and two cans of brisk Iced-T later...

i had this

2003 636... game on *****es!!!

so far i have only ridden it with a -1 front and a HB, but it's PIMP! everything about it is better, lighter, more engine braking, doesn't want to stall or chug! its a badass ride! can't wait to put the rear +10 sproket on and the cage so i can start really pushing it!

That's hilarious Legion! I guess you're becoming a master of roadtrips. Congrats on the new ride.

I was on a GSXR 600 for the past year (the 1000 took the long ride to motor heaven right after Starboyz stuntfest '04) but it's STILL a big improvement!!!

Yeah, new bikes are great, they make you want to ride even more!!! HAHAHAHAHA, yeah, we stickered it up before i even rode it!
