Honda Engines

Re: Honda Engines
Yes, honda engines are absolutely bulletproof, no matter how bad you treat them they will last for 200,000 miles.
All engines can be broken given the right amount of abuse. Hondas just hold up slightly better than the rest. however they have yet to make an idiot proof engine(maybe the 50). I find it funny when someone says "ive been doing revlimmiter coasters and chainsaw burnouts for two months and i can't believe my honda motor blew up i thought they were supposed to be tough". get real

Re: Honda Engines
each motor is different too, ive seen lots of blown 929's but the F4i's seem to be pretty tough! only heard of maybe 2-3 of them poppin
gsxr's are pretty tough unless you rev them high while the front wheel is high (rev limiter coasters, screamin HC, etc)
if you keep the revs down while the wheel is up most motors will last a while

Re: Honda Engines
over 30,000 hard miles on my 929... org. engine and not one single problem. Rev limiter coasters any chance I get. Just changed the oil and brake fluid every once in awhile. Changed the plugs once. Bike still has the original clutch.
I'll stick with Honda.

Re: Honda Engines
I see honda motors strewn all over the side of the road....my 636 is still running (but I think it's on it's way out) 10k stunt miles since I got it...and it was raped by joe brown before that....it was a race bike before then too.
