Re: Ultimate stoppie

cuz a 1000ft stoppie isn't bad *** enough?! Don't know of that many people that have accomplished this, much less a 2-mile endo. Would be pretty neat to watch though.

Re: Ultimate stoppie

2 miles=10,560 feet

that's ten times as long as some of the longest **** around.....

1100 feet is long enough.... just 500 feet looks unbeleivablely long in person

Re: Ultimate stoppie

sounds cool, until you start picking up speed at the balance point. Imagine picking it up at 60 and just coasting, then start going faster and faster and you can't really use the brake?

Re: Ultimate stoppie

he talking about riding a stoppie literraly AT bp, the point where the bike is balanced with NO brake at all...

i've hit it a few times on my bicycle, very scary, as a matter of fact, the longest bicycle stoppie was 336, and the dude rolled all of it without brakes, used just body english :pimp

the problem with doing that ona big bike is....body englsih doesn't move a 400 pound bike around much...

if you wanna use the brake....let off a lil bit.. and then *** more, that's how you control the lenght of the stoppie.....

you'd have to be riding the brakes a little more and keep it a little below bp. IE the brake fade. You'd need good pads.

Re: Ultimate stoppie

on real steep hills i think its cooler to ride the stoppie as slow as possible... like start rollin down the hill at 5mph and bring it towards bp then inch it down...

I think rolling stoppies are way harder on bicycle then on 954. Bicycle is supersensitive to brake it is low or it goes over. Motorcycle is much more forgiving, you can do power endos high speed and pretty low or low speed high. On bicycle there is very narrow sweet spot.

Been rolling them on my 954, tested one time on bicycle and crashed big time. It comes up way faster then on motorcycle.

Re: Ultimate stoppie

But the risk factor is a bit different if you compare a bike weighing 20kg to a motorbike weighing 200kg.
