Cheater pegs are neato

I just installed my passenger peg on the subframe. I don't have a drill so I used an existing hole on the weakest part of my subframe and could only use 1 bolt on the peg. So I used 4 zipties to hold the other side on, seems to be working for now.

The cool thing is that I just rocked a fuc<c></c>king idle wheelie for the first time with brake effortlessly.

Well, my F2 is so heavy on the front end it makes a huge difference how easy the front end comes up from a stop.

I'll take a picture and a video of a wheelie later tonight but the reason it's better than a passenger peg is because it's farther back and makes it so there's more weight on the back of the bike.

On the passenger peg I'd have to bounce and clutch it up and it would kinda jerk from all the power I'm using to to bring it back fast, with the subframe peg it just floats back effortlessly.

How many people put their foot in the bar? Same concept except I don't have a 12 bar.

There's also less strain on my arms, and it just feels more natural.

Here's slow BP with the subframe peg.

This is what it looks like, I need to bolt a peg directly to the subframe.

I don't have to, makes it easier to come up though, and currently my chain is skipping because the sprocket has several teeth missing, so I have to be very gentle on the throttle.

That's the "cheater peg" the first red dots are where it's usually mounted.

Re: Cheater pegs are neato

ill never use anything beside my cheater peg for any kind of stand up wheelie..it puts more weight back towards the rear of the bike and takes the weight off your arms..and anyone who thinks cheater pegs are dumb can eat a d1ck

Re: Cheater pegs are neato

Seen a dude from Stuntmetal using a peg you would see on a bicycle when I went up to Dayton last summer, only he had it more toward the back of his subframe, never tried it but looks a lil eaiser...

Cheater Pegs? Keep Your Bike Mechanically Sound And You Wont Have To Invent Cheater Parts. I Know You Are Just Trying To Improve Your Skills So If You Like It, Use It. You Still Need To Replace That Sprocket, Thats What Is Holding You Back. Im Not Bashing You, Use What You Like, Just Fix **** That Breaks.

Re: Cheater pegs are neato

My local shop has a 520 13 tooth front sprocket for 21 dollars in stock, I got an RK XSO x-ring 520 120 link chain on ebay for 50 dollars which has already been shipped, and I'm working on getting the 60 dollars I need so I can order the +13 they have in stock at www.moto-heaven.com.

I drilled my subframe and actually mounted the other side of the peg, it was a fuc<c></c>king bit<c></c>ch man, steel isn't so easy to drill through
