Re: Cheater pegs are neato

Does anyone have a pic of the cheater pegs from behind? Just wondering if it would be in too far if I mounted it on the inside of the subframe...less chance to drag if I get to circles....not worried about the strength of the sub on mine cuz it would be going throught the 12 bar bracket as well.

I've seen a guy here and he welded a bike peg to the outside of his 12bar

Exactly, so mind your own business. It's really uncomfortable for me to use stock pegs, I don't care how much better they "look". It puts a ton of strain on my arms and makes me fatigued quicker, so why should I use stock pegs just to "look better".

Hell maybe if I was a midget like darius the stock pegs would work fine.

The StL peg is the way to go. It wont hit doing circles either. I used it on the 1000 but the 636 I don't need it for some reason. I can straight-leg the stock peg just fine.

I'm 6'1" and use the stock pass. peg just fine. The more you ride and your arms get stronger you won't feel the fatigue anymore. Go to the gym or something.. Tat sh*t is pretty lame..

I don't want to be strong, or work out. I can lift my bike when I drop it and that's ok with me.

You can lift your bike up when you drop it but you need a cheater peg cuz your too weak to hold on to the bike w/ your foot in the passenger peg.. Hmmmmmm. And the excuses keep coming

Bottom line is the peg is unnecessary... All you need is some more seat time.

Foot in bar is unneccessary too, and I don't need to use a peg just cuz you tell me to.

Goddamnit highschooler Foot in the bar isn't unneccessary, it's just another stand up variation like staggard, foot on the seat. You have to change it up.. I actually just started doing foot in the bar cuz foot in the seat and staggard stuff I was just getting bored with.

Cheater peg is just unneccessary and that's my OPINION..

Whatever get's your jollys off pal. Happy riding!!

Yeah everything is unnessary, so is stunting.. I'm selling my bike..

What I'm trying to get through to these jokers is that with more practice your stock passenger peg is all you will need. I used to feel cramped with the pass. peg but w/ more practice and when I was finally doing it correctly it will feel fine.

Cheater pegs are neato. :YEAH F*ck it. I'm joining the STL bandwagon..
