I got a stock f4i tail light, and i have it zip tied to the bottom of the back seat. Its protected, its actually decently visable from behind, and it didnt require much extra **** for mounting.

i have an F4, i drilled some holes in the sides of my light and ziptied it to the 12 bar/subframe. its all inside the tail where it should be, doesnt move and i havent had a problem with it. i couldnt just mount it regularly cuase when i put my bar on i cut like 2 inches off the end of the tail and thats where the light bolted to.

Re: please post your custom taillights
I just finished frabricating up a plate from some thin metal on my f4i.. I don't have pics atm, but should soon. Essentially it is just a piece of aluminum bent like an L and screwed into the subframe with the tray at the back. Threw some LEDs on it and and some braces... I'll try to get some pics up, throw me a PM if you have questions on it.

3" wide LED brake lights

6" wide LED brake lights

This is where i got mine for the 929 i just got rid of, they are real bright, and theyre dual mode (running light that brightens when you hit the brakes......same as stock brake light) and theyre real easy to mount and hook up.
