05 gsxr 1000?

anyone got one?

how they do?

fast or slow?

any pros?

cons?

im getting one tomorrow for a street bike (twistys & trackdayz) but wonder how they hold up to goinng down and how ballenced they are on one wheel?

anyone got one? know a couple people who i ride with that do

how they do? as well as any super sport bike would with its own little ups and downs

fast or slow? dood.... 1000cc sport bike... nuff said

any pros? handles great, good power band, comfortable enough to sit on, if i remember right has a gear indicator

cons? heard something about a weak frame (maybe a recall????)

I *heard* that its pushing 170-175 hp, and weighs about 360ish...Fast? I don't know about you but that sounds almost..TOO fast.

ok fast or slow meens is anyone stunnin one fast or slow and how they feel?...

it is bout 360lb and 165hp... yea to fast but im not into the speed

IMO it is. I have no desire to have a bike with that much power.

You're better off getting an 06 ZX-10R. It has a CBR1000RR looking tail with a straight pipe "motogp" style that exits through the bottom fairing. I personally think the undertail design is pretty gay but the exhaust on the 10R is sweet.

With a turn signal integrator it'll look so clean... Oh and it's faster and handles better than a GSXR1000 and doesn't have that frame issue.


Someone lowsided their 1k at 20mph and broke the frame in half, I would be afraid to own one personally.

I am pretty sure the exhaust is just like this ER-6n.

I really dont think the '05 1000 will hold up to serious stunting. I have seen 2 total frame failures, one was on the track at a fairly high speed but the way the welds failes really bothered me. The other one was at only about 20MPH, collided with another bike and the frame just totally separated near the cylinder head.

If you are actually getting one it will take you all of 20miles to answer all your questions........................
