Me and some friends were going out for a ride last night. We pull out from a light and i pop it up and ride one out a ways then set it down at the bottom of the hill. No cars in sight, clear open lanes. We keep riding about 3 miles up a cop is trying to do a u turn in front of us. I didnt think anything of it since no cars were around when i did the wheelie. I dont have mirrors on my bike so i didnt know he pulled up on my ***. Turns his lights on , i look ahead and see a lot of cars in front and a truck blocking a lane so nowhere to go. Pull over and the cop tells me this other cop called him to pull me over for riding a wheelie in front of him. Wait about 10 min for him to get done writing someone a ticket to come to me. He comes and gives me a ticket for careless driving i think, and no inspection on 1 ticket. Gives me another ticket for my license plate being in front of my rear tire not visible enough. He just kept walking around trying to give me tickets. Im surprised he didnt give me a ticket for my tank being dented in and camoed. So now i need to get a lawyer to take care of the careless and others. Does anyone have any ideas of anything i can do. I dont need points. I have a clean record now, but i have a prayer for judgement under my belt for another year, so if i get points, i get hit with the past ticket from 2 years ago also. The cop was a little midget *** young *** ***** boy. I guess he is trying to make a name for himself.

 

U should be able to beat the wheelie since he wasn't actually the one who saw u do it.....as for the rest, they aren't moving violations, so they shouldn't count against u.....point wise. But yea, definetly get a Lawyer.....it'll help!

i forgot to mention when he had me pulled over, he was like "your tag is not in a visible spot, i normally dont pull people over for there tags but since i pulled you over for the wheelie im going to write you a ticket for you tag and inspection also." I was like what a ****......................

I was told, once they lose visable sight of you they can't write you for that offence.

Bullshit, tell that cop to suck a **** when you take him to court. If the cop did write the tickets for some bullshit, he'll be too ashamed to show up.

and if the cop doesnt show up you get default judgement.

 

If the cop that saw you do it didn't get your liscence plate number then just plead not guilty. At court if he even shows up, when he goes to testify and you get to cross examine him ask him if he got the liscence plate # of the bike he saw doing the wheelie. If he says no then you should be golden because they can't prove it was you if he lost sight of you for any length of time. Then while you're at it ask the judge to throw out the other tickets as you were issued those after being stopped by a cop who had no probable cause to stop you since he can't prove it was you who did the wheelie and you would not have been issued the tickets if he had not pulled you over. He even said he wouldn't have ticketed you but since he already had you pulled over.........
